Today's rituals took us from sunrise to sunset, to the tallest mountain and to the creeks in the valley, sowing colors and good luck for the most active time of year. ⛰️🌿✨🕯️

During tomorrow's morning ritual, we will hike to the top of our tallest mountain to return her highest stone-- we took the uppermost stone of the mountaintop into ritual safekeeping at the Autumn Equinox, and have kept it wrapped snugly in a specially made blanket over winter, secured with dried flowers from last summer solstice. This evening we're beginning to "wake" the stone with fresh spring flower petals, so we can place it back on the mountaintop for the brightest months of the year, along with fresh offerings to the land to bring abundance and protection during the growing season.

Just in time for Spring! --> What is ritual dirt for?

This dirt can serve as the element of Earth/Nature in any magical working, and provide necessary "holy ground" as needed, for purposes such as:

-Grounding, shielding, and protection
-Healing, growth/regrowth, and spiritual nourishment
-Creating sacred space/holy ground in otherwise secular or urban environments (scatter a pinch at your feet anywhere when you need to be safe from unwanted spirits/energy in a hurry!)
-Charging altars and tools
-Ritually "painting"/smearing one's body or other talismanic objects
-Serving as a special ingredient in spell bags, bottles, jars, and other such crafts

Our ritual dirts have been collected from places on our property with care taken to minimally disturb root systems and habitat. Each batch of dirt is sifted by hand to remove large debris, worms, and insects, then slow-baked for ~8 hours to remove any bacterial or fungal contaminants. After being sanitized, the dirt is spiritually consecrated on our main altar. This is as "clean" as dirt gets!

Not all objects of power are flashy looking! This is a core sample, a mix of sandstone and limestone, which was given to Lask by one of his school teachers almost 20 years ago. The teacher was never seen gifting things to students otherwise-- he seemed to just intuitively know to put this piece of stone into a young magician's hands! This core sample was taken from rock around Lask's hometown, and represents some of the same stone that was historically quarried to build the U.S. capitol building and other government buildings on the East Coast. Today, we use this stone to help clients build strong foundations, strengthen core energy, and protect against the wear and tear of time. You might spot it in the background of lots of different rituals!
